Collapse AllBarnes & Sheen Singles - Round 36 | Thursday 28 February 2019 to Wednesday 24 April 2019 (Midpoint: Wednesday 27 March 2019)
It was a quieter round in Barnes & Sheen than we would have liked with a number of players unfortunately not making it off the start line. Do remember we are always happy to help you try and get matches arranged. Thanks to everyone who did make it onto court and we hope to see you again next time for many more matches throughout the summer months.
There was much less action than we would have liked in group one with several no shows unfortunately reducing the number of matches played. Sara made the most of her time on court, winning both of her tricky encounters to finish in the number one spot. Tony, Angus and Manish all got a win on the board to give themselves a chance of second. After some number crunching it is Tony who walks away with the silver thanks to fewest sets conceded.

There were some "challenging" games in group two with Ajeet v Philippa and Pablo v Reid particularly lengthy and close encounters. Pablo and Nick both notched up three victories to put themselves in contention for the gold. Crucially however, Pablo also added scheduling skills to his game and this boosts his total into the lead.
