Over 70 per cent of the matches were played this round which is even better than last time so thank you for all your hard work getting matches set up and played. Please do spread the word, we would love to get to three groups for the post Wimbledon round!
Group Summary:
Darren did a brilliant job of keeping this race as tight as possible avenging his defeat to Ricardas by earning his scheduling bonus points. That mean that the two tied. Tantalisingly there was still one more match to be played for both players and that could have been a decider! But without that match, it is all down to their head-to-head to decide the group winner. But before we congratulate our winner and runner up, a nod to third-placed Krzysztof who won four matches and could even have stolen the group if he had collected bonus points! Here's to our champ Ricardas and let's do it all again next time!

In Set1 I got into to the game bit quicker but Set 2 played in a non stop rain or drizzle was very close game with wet heavy balls and soaked clothes. Group Summary:
14 was the maximum number of points that could be squeezed out of this group and Tim got them all, bonus points included. And all for the loss of just a few games. Tim described his performance as "solid" at one point. We think that a bit of an understatement and would hazard a guess that John who came in second with four wins of his own would agree. In fact the two had a well-contested game it was just that Tim "was having a pretty good day"! Well done Tim and to all of you for a very good round of tennis.
