- "First time we played each other. Marathonic first game on my serve. After about 9 deuces I managed to hold and that was key for the rest of the set. Good rallies on the second set and again I wasn’t missing and consistency put me through a good game. All the best in your new venture in Suffolk Darren!" -- Ezequiel
Player Comments:
- "Tight first set. Sole quality tennis to bring us to 4-4. Edged the set with some consistent play. 2nd set competitive - really enjoyed the match tonight. Thanks Ryan. " -- Wesley

- "Another nice match with Pasq. Nice rallies and some lovely long games. We certainly had a good work out! We broke each other a lot on the second set but I managed to hold at the end! Looking forward to another game with you mate soon! All the best on the rest of your matches." -- Ezequiel
Player Comments:
- "Great match with Wes as always! First set I was very frustrated and doing a lot of errors but Wes didn’t miss at all! Well deserved for him. Second set started very tight and my racquet ended up on the other side of the fence due to more frustration but I managed to get some composure and held on and brake some serves during some long rallies. 3rd set I started strong and Wes dropped his game a bit. Forehand came back with confidence and managed to close the game after a hard fought battle! Good luck Wes with your other matches and I shall play you again soon as always!" -- Ezequiel

- "Our final match of tennis league together and it was without a doubt the best. The first set and a half I was on fire and Darren's level was not where I know it can be. I took a 3-0 lead in the 2nd set and from out of nowhere, Darren couldn't miss and played some brilliant tennis. The third and final set was of a really high quality and great ball striking. I again took a 3-1 lead but was broke back straight away. At 5-5 Darren played a brilliant return game hitting some brilliant forehand winners. At 5-6 down I also played a brilliant return game, saving two match points. The tie break was back and forth and I managed a mini break at 5-5 and served it out for a 7-5 win. Best of luck for the future Darren and the rest of your matches." -- Ryan
Player Comments:
- "Cracking match at Mowsbury this evening. Very tight in the first set to 3-3 which finished 6-3 after i managed to return several high speed hits from Darren and pull away. Second set was 1-1 after both losing our serves which eventually ended 6-1. Thanks for the great match Darren. Good luck in your other matches. " -- Wesley
Player Comments:
- "Marathon. Booked the court for 3 hours and we needed it. Started at 4pm and finished at 6:40pm. Pasq took the first set easily as this was my first singles match in a while so was a little rusty. I managed to edge the second set 6-4 after it was 4-4. 3rd set more more of a battle of fatigue than tactical tennis. Only a few holds of serve as it was hot and we were on our knees. Great match - thank you. " -- Wesley

- "Always a good and fun match against John and this evening was no exception. Both saw swings in momentum with exchanges of breaks of serve. For the first time in a long time, I was serving pretty well and hit 5 or 6 aces past John, including one to snuff out a set-point to John in the second set. Some good rallies and a good number of deuce games too. Already looking forward to the next one, John!!" -- Jean-Paul
Player Comments:
- "This was an epic encounter ! Rarely have I enjoyed such a long, well contested, point after point after point slogfest, Paul and I produced some belting rallies displaying variety and energy, with good tennis continuously receiving acknowledgement. I had the 'rub of the green' no more so than in game nine first set, with two net chords settling the rallies in my favour, harsh at such a critical moment. Had this gone into a third I'm not sure what physical condition we'd be in tomorrow. Paul, you were a gentleman on court and seem equally sound off it, sincerely look forward to another all-out tennis encounter in the near future! " -- Ian
Player Comments:
- "Pleasure to meet and play against Ryan. Given how new you are to the game, it'll be interesting to see how you progress by sticking with it over coming months; we had a few decent rallies today and whilst the score was one sided, it was evident our passion for the game was equal ! Good luck on court Ryan " -- Ian
Player Comments:
- "Toby is a very good player with fantastic shot range. He is further along in his tennis and I. It just so happened on the night I was a little more consistent. A different day, a very different outcome. All the best with rest of your league and hope to play you in the future. Great game, friendly chap. " -- Ryan
Player Comments:
- "A fun match on a still evening. Most points were reasonably short but we had some good exchanges, especially on the last point. Toby made great use of his serve out wide and a couple of returns were unplayable. Thanks Toby. Good luck in your remaining games!" -- Jean-Paul
Player Comments:
- "Pleasure to meet and play Toby. The threatening rain clouds kept at bay and we played in good but occasionally blustery conditions. Early days in Toby's adventure into singles tennis - better days will come so stick with it ! " -- Ian

- "A great match against Jean Paul at BLTC. On the whole, the conditions were dry and calm with the odd downpour that did not detract from the game. JP got off to a strong start attacking the lines and put me on the backfoot. The second & third sets I forced the game to JP with some consistent serving and deep play. The score line in the 2nd and third does not reflect the close fought out battles at deuce with one game in the 2nd approaching 15 mins!! Overall a really great match and I look forward to further 'battles' with JP in the future." -- Paul
Player Comments:
- "Great to play John again at BLTC, on a lovely night for tennis. Some fun rallies and closer games than the score suggests but I managed to edge ahead and see out the sets. Good game much enjoyed!" -- Ian
Player Comments:
- " A lovely morning at BLTC for the match against John. The first set initially went with serve with some long fought out rallies. John had a few long unforced errors whilst I managed to keep some pressure on and make a few winners. The second set consisted of some very long games as the morning heated up. Overall, a really enjoyable game. Thanks John." -- Paul
Player Comments:
- "Toby & I had a good match at Mowsbury Park with fine weather. There were some good rallies throughout. Thoroughly enjoyable. Cheers Toby. " -- Paul
Player Comments:
- "Great to paly with Ryan in a match that had plenty of long rallies, in the end my consistency gave me the edge." -- John
Player Comments:
- "Great to play Toby and welcome him to the league for his first competitive singles game; as to date he has been focused on doubles. Played on a grey but warm bank holiday Monday on the astro turf of BLTC and had a very enjoyable game with some great rallies. Good luck Toby in the rest of your games. " -- John
Player Comments:
- "Pleasure playing JP; the first set saw JP lead 4-2 before things turned in my favour. We enjoyed good rallies throughout the match and both hit decent winners, but the customary double fault was never far away... The second set went largely with serve, the difference being an early break which went unanswered. Good game at BLTC, look forward to more !" -- Ian
