The serving onslaught continued in the second, where I was never really in it. But thankfully for me everything seemed to click in the decider… although not before Florin saved three match points on my serve. A cracking two-hour epic - and I look forward to us playing again. - "Despite a rainy start to the morning it turned out to be a very pleasant sunny day for tennis with not much of a breeze. After you won the first set fairly comfortably the second set was looking a bit more even. I finally managed to pull ahead ahead and it looked like we might be heading for another marathon three setter. It definitely wasn’t looking great for me as the first set disappeared in a blur; though I’m not quite sure looking back what I could have done differently. Everything you hit seemed to find it’s mark point after point. In the second set I did manage to get ahead early on but after a couple of close games you pulled back and in the end it was your sheer consistency that made all the difference.
