Such a shame we had to end the round two weeks early due to lockdown but at least quite a few matches had already been played in both groups! A great effort all round and we look forward to getting going again soon!
Group Summary:
There were quite a few matches still left to be played in this group but Rebecca claimed top spot with an impressive 4 wins and a 3 point lead over runner up Laura. Laura won their head to head but Rebecca played 2 extra matches although one of these was left tantalisingly poised late in the second set... such a shame the early finish meant this match couldn't be completed on a different day.

- " What a battle! Our first four games must have taken at least 30mins to play out giving us an indication of just how much of a slog our match was going to be. With a few court changes (my fault Jude for not doing my bit), we were on court for nearly 3 hours! Jude’s sharpened her toolbox of first serves and precision slices landing on the lines. Group Summary:
Claire impressed in Group 2 winning 5 matches to take top spot, however she was put through her paces by runner up Silvia who recovered from a slow start to take Claire all the way to a deciding set tiebreak in a "true 2.5hr workout"! Luck was on Claire's side in the tiebreak though helping her secure the title... but a great effort from both players!
