Reveal CommentNicholas Lyne bt Adam Webb (Jul 20) 7-5, 6-2

Player Comments:

  • "Very nice to meet and play Adam, a good game played in great spirits. The first set was very close with both of us getting to grips with the others game snd the occasional variable bounce from the court. After several break and counter breaks I managed to scrape through in the last game. The second set was also close with a number of deuce games but I managed to play some good shots at the right time to take the set. Good luck to Adam in his remaining matches."  -- Nicholas
Reveal CommentNicholas Lyne bt Muhammad Ali (Jul 10) 6-1, 6-0

Player Comments:

  • "A good match, Muhammad is just getting back into the game and was a little rusty but grew in confidence as the game progressed. The score does not do justice to Muhammad who played some good shots. "  -- Nicholas
Reveal CommentNicholas Lyne bt Carmel Saulbrey (Jul 1) 6-3, 6-0

Player Comments:

  • "A good match played in great spirits, Carmel is a lovely person znd good player. The game was close until I broke serve in the 7th game after which my consistency rose and Carmel's dropped fractionally giving me the edge through the rest of the match. The games were closer than the score suggests and Carmel was playing some great shots all the way through the match. Good luck Carmel for your remaining games."  -- Nicholas
