Three grass tennis courts
1 April to 30 September, open 7 days, 10am to dusk
The Key Play Scheme has been introduced for the benefit of Shrewsbury residents. The scheme is designed to enable access (via key code) to sporting facilities at locations that are not normally manned or available for public use during all or certain time periods.
The facilities and locations included in the scheme are; Monkmoor Rec (SY2 5BN) – three tarmac tennis courts, Silks Meadow (Frankwell) – two grass tennis courts and one crown green, Saint Michaels Rec (SY1 2HA) – one grass tennis court and All Saints (SY1 2JX) – two grass tennis courts.
HOW DO I JOIN THE KEY PLAY SCHEME?

Pass codes issued on personal visit.
Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.00pm (excluding Bank Holidays).
You need to complete the application form (available below) and it is important you bring along the following:-
- Proof of Residency
- Proof of Identity
- Two facial photographs (passport size)
- The appropriate fee (please see Key Play Scheme Application for details)
