Match Results:
Player Comments:
- "Celia and I played one another in cold and damp conditions but we were soon thoroughly warmed-up chasing everything down. A great contrast in styles. None of the games were Love games. Long rallies. Individual points went on for seven or eight shots, sometimes more. Neither of us could achieve a decisive break. Unfortunately, just as things were reaching a climax, the Heavens opened. We're looking forward to continuing the match another day" -- Tony

- "This was a relentless battle. As time went on, Alister seemed to get the measure of my shots and match me for consistency. And he pulled off some remarkable gets. Somehow I pulled myself together and knocked off the last two games by the narrowest of margins. I went home mentally and physically spent" -- Tony
Player Comments:
- "Had to stop as it was getting dark" -- Andrew
Player Comments:
- "A terrific match in baking hot conditions. Almost every game involved at least six points. Andrew seemed to have it sewn up at 5-1 but I managed to get back to 4-5 by the time we had to break off" -- Tony
Player Comments:
- "this was a six pointer (Tom and I both needed to finish another match to get bonus points) that nearly didn't happen as Your Truly had booked the court for 7 am rather than 7 O'Clock in the evening. I had had a match at lunchtime so I was still pumped up and my serve was going OK. We had some very long games and the match was much closer than the score suggests" -- Tony
Player Comments:
- "quite a tough game in blazing sunshine with lots of long rallies and deuces - very enjoyable" -- Tony
Player Comments:
- "Alistair found his rythm in the second set and started to punish my second serve. He chases every ball down which made for some good long rallies. This was a very enjoyable match." -- Tom
