Collapse AllCrystal Palace Singles - Round 21 | Thursday 8 November 2018 to Wednesday 16 January 2019 (Midpoint: Wednesday 12 December 2018)
A quieter round for Crystal Palace Tennis League in this winter season with just 2 groups, but those of you who entered were rewarded with some great tennis and lots of exciting matches, especially in Group 1 where nearly all possible matches were played. Overall over two thirds of matches were completed this round which is a great effort, so we're looking forward to seeing you all back on court next time!
Group Summary:
Congratulations to Chris for jumping 2 places up the leaderboard to top Group 1 this time round, finishing 2 points clear of runner up Milosz who retained his runner up spot. Chris recorded 7 wins with his only defeat coming at the hands of Lee who staged an impressive comeback after losing the first set to love to seal the win in a third set tiebreak. This was a bumper group with all but 2 players completing at least 7 matches, lots of bonus points earned and several contenders for Match of the Group... so it was a great effort everyone!

Group Summary:
Congratulations to Andrew for winning Group 2 in fine style with 5 match wins to earn immediate promotion back to Group 1, finishing 8 points clear of runner up Lien. This was a good result for Lien too following promotion from Group 2 last round, as she secured 2 hard fought wins over Neill and Alistair both in 3 sets. Unfortunately Andrew's match against Rebecca was a walkover but he managed to complete his other wins in straight sets, while Neill and Justin enjoyed a close match in fine conditions.
