Group Summary:
Darran certainly made an entrance into this league as he stormed to the top of the table earning the maximum number of points without dropping a set - well played Darran! Match Results:
Player Comments:
- "Fantastic match against David, we're very evenly matched and every set had a stack of service breaks and long exhausting rallies. Don't think I've enjoyed a competitive game this much in a long time. Dave beat me in the summer, so we're even, decider in the next round perhaps..! " -- James
Player Comments:
- "I really enjoyed this competitive match, it was a great clash of styles, James with his powerful, attacking baseline play against my more cautious, defensive, opportunist play. The scoreline doesn't property reflect the match as there were many deuce points and long rallies that I just managed to win, a good afternoons tennis played indoors." -- Darran
Player Comments:
- "A good match played indoors, I got off to a great start breaking Murray's serve and rode the momentum to take the first set. Murray came out firing big solid shots early in the second set hitting unreturnable winners, I managed to weather the storm and was happy with my win over a very dangerous opponent." -- Darran
Player Comments:
- "My experience told in this match, also playing earlier in the day helped by cementing my ground strokes, everything seemed to be working well for me,Michael was understandably frustrated at times and his racket took the brunt of it on occasion getting thrown and slammed about the court, I admired Michaels desire and effort and his speed and coverage of the court was first class." -- Darran
Player Comments:
- "Good afternoons tennis... indoor.... great facility " -- David
Player Comments:
- "Nice game played in the right spirit My left handed sliced serve was working as well as it ever has and it helped me get off to a good start, I had to play from the back of the court as Tony's passing shots were just too good!" -- Darran
