Player Comments:

  • "A really tightly contested match with some close deuces. Playing indoor it was 6-0 4-0 but after moving outside Marek seemed to find his footing and broke me twice consecutively so it was 2-3. Maybe next match we'll play outside! Thank you for a great match!"  -- Ewan

Player Comments:

  • "Was great to play Matt today at the indoor tennis centre the first set was a close affair with a few early breaks of serve. There were some really good rallies which left us breathless at times. I managed to get ahead early in set 2 and kept momentum to close it out in 2 sets. Great to meet Matt and enjoyed our game. Cheers David"  -- David

  • "Ewan has a quick first serve that caught me out quite a few times down the T and a cracking forehand down-the-line winner when it comes off. A friendly relaxed but competitive match hopefully enjoyed by both of us. Good to meet you and thanks for the game Ewan. Good luck with the remaining matches! "  -- Nick

  • "Thoroughly enjoyed this match played in the Autumn sunshine next to the lake at Newport TC. David is a such nice chap and the games were competitive and often close. Some long rallies that I'd love to watch back if only they were recorded somehow. Luck was with me for the net cords on this one. All the best David, hope to play again soon. "  -- Nick
