Group Summary:
Gael and Kevin picked up five wins apiece to make it a two horse race for the group one crown. Now Kevin won their thrilling head to head 5-7, 6-3, 6-4, however this wasn't quite enough to secure the prize as Gael also added bonus points to his tally to move ahead into top spot -well played both. Hats off to Peter and Andre too for scheduling well to take home a bonus prize.

Group Summary:
There were no post match comments in group two so the tennis was left to do the talking. Stephan, perhaps inspired by his near miss with top spot in the last round, powered to four wins from four to clinch the gold. Kevin also finished unbeaten, but having played one fewer match than Stephan he has to settle for the silver this time. Credit to Stan who took home the only bonus prize of the group.

Stan Hill bt Chris Moore (Dec 21) 6-1, 1-6, 6-4Group Summary:
Dan and Kris certainly got some tiebreak practice in in their epic encounter which eventually finished 7-6, 6-7, 7-6 in favour of Dan - great stuff. Kris didn't let this loss affect his game as he battled to wins in his other five matches and bagged bonus points to pull clear in first place. Dan finished the round undefeated from his three matches to become the runner up, but could he have gone one better if he had played a few more? A shame to see Lucy withdraw - hope you're ok.

Group Summary:
It was a tight tussle for the number one spot in group four with Nathan and John finishing level on eleven points apiece. The match between the two is therefore a winner takes all affair and this clash was one worthy of determining the new champ. Nathan held off John's comeback, thanks in part to his "slice shots and deep back hands" to emerge victorious from this marathon match and claim the prize. A pat on the back to third placed James who also had a strong round to finish four wins to the good.
