Player Comments:

  • "A good close competitive match. 1st set went with serve until 4-3 to me, then I broke serve and held to win 6-3. The second set was very different. There were 5 breaks out of the 9 games. Daniele went 2-1 up, then I went 5-2 up, then it went 5-3 and 6-3. It was a nice day for tennis so we played another set, which I won 7-5. "  -- Rory

Player Comments:

  • "Lee started off the match extremely consistent as usual and was simply too good, winning 6-1, with no unforced errors. He continued in this vein to lead the second set 5-1, but then after a long point where he had to do a lot of running, he was exhausted and a bit nauseous. For the rest of the match, he was not the same player, which allowed me to up my game and dominate, winning 7-6 (7-4) and then 6-0. Unlucky Lee, had you maintained your level you would have won 6-1, 6-1. Look forward to our next match. "  -- Rory
