Player Comments:
- "After a slow start to the first set, immediately falling 3-0 behind, Sue started finding the margins of the court with some crisp ground strokes and won the five games on the bounce to take the first set 7-5. The momentum looked set to continue in the second set with Sue getting an early break and then defending 3 break points on her own serve to go 2-0 up. I was able to break back and rally my game to take the set. The final set was a much quicker affair than the previous two, as (I think it's fair to say) the heat and the loss of the second set had rather taken the bite out of Sue's game. Altogether a very good match with some very tight games in it." -- Patrick
- "Thanks Paddy - an excellent match report. Well played!"-- Sue
Player Comments:
- "A really tight game which went all the way and culminated in a very tight final set that included three breaks of serve and a lot of protracted deuces. Luckily we managed to get the game finished off just before the heavy rain started falling." -- Patrick
- Thanks for a good game, it was very close...massive blister on my feet thou...so off for a week at least! Cez
