Player Comments:
- "Great game in pretty hot conditions. Both pairs were fairly new to playing doubles, in fact it was David's first game of doubles ever. After an unlucky run of games in the first set, Tom and Jordan piled the pressure on in the second taking a 3-1 lead before a fightback and a hard fought win for Martin & David." -- Martin

Congratulations to Mary & Andy, who produced a dominant display of doubles to finish with a 100% winning record and a place on the top of the podium. - "This was really hard fought match, Jon and Antonino were certainly set on taking no prisoners. We looked set to get beat easily after losing the first 3 games really quickly. We managed to take some games but in the end they were to strong and won the first set quite comfortably. As the matched continued it was the battle of the servers between Andy and Antonino and the battle of the anchor players Mary and Jon. Lots of really long rallies with plenty of action at the net as well. The final set commenced and was scheduled to be a game of nerves especially with it going to a tie break. In the end Mary and Andy rode their luck better. A great game against some great opponents. Now time for a well earned Pimms!! Cheers!" -- Mary

The game was competitive and played in good spirits." -- Mary
