Player Comments:
- "A great match despite flashes of wintery hail and showers, though the court remained safe enough to play on. It is always very tough when playing Philip as he never gives up and ensures I work very hard to win every game. We both had to do lots of running and moved each other around the court effectively. Very close match and I felt that both sets could have gone either way." -- Aaron
Player Comments:
- "Great match played in pleasant conditions. First 2 sets were a battle of contrasting styles and tactics. In the final set Vikas did incredibly well to come back from 5-1 down to lead 6-5 defending multiple match points on the way. With the deciding set going to tie break I just managed to get over the line. Very challenging match and thank you Vikas for an unforgettable match! All the best" -- Aaron
- "Another tough game for me but no regrets as I was able to hit lot of winners. In the end I misjudged few lobs and it did cost me the game. I was quite satisfied to come back from 1-5 in 3rd set and took it to 6-5. I enjoyed this game thoroughly." -- Vikas
Player Comments:
- "Think I always state the game was tense but this went to the wire with a tie break 8-6 where Vikas was 3-6 up. He deserved the set. 2nd set I went 3-0 up again and he again brought it back to 3-4. Wind was rubbish but made for some interesting banana shots. Great game and Vikas didn't deserve to lose 2-0." -- James
- "Congrats to James for holding nerves at right moment and winning both the sets from behind." -- Vikas
Player Comments:
- "Great game today with some decent shots but made hard by strong cross wind. Don't bother with your faster serves as Philip just smacks them back at your feet. " -- James
Player Comments:
- "Windy and cagey with a tight second set complimented by Aaron's running jumping for hand smash volley straight down the line. Glad to be back. " -- James
Player Comments:
- "Enjoyable two-faced match. A very long and close first set, completed in over an hour with loads of deuces, that none deserved to lose. The second set was the opposite, maybe due to the lots of effort put in the first set that left little energy for the second." -- Davide
- "Strange game for me. First set we had close to 30 deuces, It lasted about 1 hr 5 mins. I was hoping second set I can start more aggressive and suddenly I realise I have lost it 6-0. Great game by Davide." -- Vikas
Player Comments:
- "A few winners and many unforced errors for me, as expected after a long forced break. Enjoyable game, Philip never gave up and played well. The match was tough, and victory could have gone either way but I somehow managed to keep the lead. Good luck with the rest of the league Philip!" -- Davide

- "Serves and lines.. what a brilliant game very close darren was solid from the baseline hitting winner after winner accross court. Managed to serve myself out of many tight spots in games and i think its fair to say could easily have gone the other way deuce 9 in the final game ! Look forward to our next encounter " -- Eric

Player Comments:
- "Great game in good weather. First set was closer than it looks as we both broke serve a few times before I got the lead. Second set was really competitive, with long rallies and a few highlights. Last game I got quite lucky and my otherwise inconsistent serve got me out of trouble. Tomasz is a really good player and he’s got all the shots. I’m sure we will meet again on court in the future. 😎🎾" -- Emmanouil
Player Comments:
- "What a terrific match. The result could have gone the other way in the second set tie-break but I just squeezed home." -- Jan
Player Comments:
- "Lovely sunny day, both played with 1 layer of clothes but not shorts😄 Thanks Ade, nice meeting you." -- Steven

Player Comments:
- "Thanks to Hugh for competing our match in truly awful weather.I have never played in a blizzard before.Good luck in the rest of the group matches" -- Jan
Player Comments:
- "Ade got the job done today. Both players gave a huge effort and the result of today’s tennis match is a little bit demoralising. The positive here is that I’m glad to be back on court" -- Mayur
Player Comments:
- "First match of the round for both of us in fairly good conditions, though sudden wind gusts messed with our shots a couple of times. After a slow start on the first set, Steven got his game on and the second set could have gone either way, but I was lucky enough to get the extra break. Thank you for a great match Steven, looking forward to playing you again in the future!" -- Emmanouil

Player Comments:
- "John started well and before I knew it I was 1 - 4 down. I worked hard to win the set and that momentum carried me through the second set. Very enjoyable game. All the best in your other matches John. " -- Glenn
Player Comments:
- "I went 2-5 down, went 7-5 5-1 up and then was reigned back in to 5-4 Deuce on serve having missed 3 match points. Had no drink so was tiring so I reckon you could've won the match had you won that final game. Was very competitive and played in nice conditions. Good luck with the rest of your matches." -- Jonathan
Player Comments:
- "You deserved some games. Plenty of game points and break points (especially in the last 2 games). Overall there is some rust in both our games while you have a very good serve. I wish you well on your remaining matches. I think you'll win some." -- Jonathan
Player Comments:
- "Very good match. Emma played well but I just couldn't miss the lines. Good luck with your other matches Emma. " -- Glenn
Player Comments:
- "The score really doesn't reflect the game. Mark played well and caused problems. I think my confidence from having already played one match was just the winning edge. Hopefully, we'll have the opportunity for a rematch in the not too distant future. " -- Glenn
Player Comments:
- "Much closer than the score would suggest. There were some hard-fought points, especially in the first set. It was exhausting! Lots of banter as we tried to get into each other's headspace. All very friendly. Great game. It's great to have tennis back again " -- Glenn
