Yes really. A study by Oxford University in 2016 found that tennis players live longer, possibly because it’s a sociable sport that can be played all year and maintained later in life.

Tennis is already well known for being good for aerobic fitness, improving bone density and muscle tone, lowering blood pressure and body fat and improving balance, co-ordination and stamina.
