Wimbledon Will Always Be My Home
Seb Cotton

Playing tennis last year really helped me get through the tough times of working in the NHS and when I pushed myself too hard at work, it was a great help with my recovery.
Tennis has always been a big part of my life and Wimbledon will always be my home even though I now live in Scotland. As a local and former ball boy, I grew up in Wimbledon working at The Championships and love the excitement the tournament brings home.
I have been in and out of tennis clubs as I have moved around but it was not until I joined Local Tennis Leagues that I really got to enjoy the thrill of competitive singles matches. Playing tennis last year really helped me get through the tough times of working in the NHS and when I pushed myself too hard at work, it was a great help with my recovery. I would recommend people to join LTL as it is very well organised and my game has improved so much, tactically and technically.
I managed to reach the heights of group 1 in the Meadows LTL and look forward to catching up with all the players on the circuit once we are allowed to start playing again. I have enjoyed playing against opponents with all different styles of play and also indoors at Craiglockhart when the Scottish weather hits!
I hope others enjoy LTL as much as me and look forward to the return of Wimbledon this summer.
