Player Comments:

  • "Last day of the season and we are in the unenviable position where we have to play our last two matches in the same evening and worse still it's against arguably the two toughest pairings in the league. A really close and enjoyable match against marc and lee with some classic Padel rallies including some where none of us ever felt in control if the manic rally. A close 6-2 first set. The second set we found ourselves 0-4 down and already thinking tactically about the 3rd but we fought back to 5-5 and we were soon discussing tiebreak and 3rd set rules but we managed to take two deuce games our way and win 7-5 in a great final set. Tactically these guys were better than us but in this occasion we took the win. Thanks both"  -- Kevin

Player Comments:

  • "Really enjoyable game versus 2 very competent players. Gavin and Christian are so calm under pressure with a great understanding of the game. So often we thought the point was won only to see one of them calmly follow the ball bounce off the walls and hit it back. We had the edge this time but we know on another day they could beat us. Cheers both and good luck in your others."  -- Kevin
