Player Comments:

  • "It was great to play Eren again and finally get a match played this round (apologies to everyone else!) The first set was an unusual one with both of us holding serve really well and nothing between us. I got lucky on a number of close line calls and hit the net on a few shots with the ball just trickling over. I was relieved to see out the set 6-4. The 2nd set was a lot closer despite the scoreline with almost every game I recall going to juice or thereabouts. It was my first singles match for almost 9 months following a nasty injury so was just happy to be back on court. Thanks for match Eren and was lovely to finally get our match played. Good luck with your summer leagues and look forward to playing you again soon. "  -- Kevin

Player Comments:

  • "Good Match... unlucky from Pradyumna at times. I was just more persistent with my winning shots to push for unforced errors. Second set Pradyumna was a bit more consistent but again unlucky. "  -- Eren
Reveal CommentEren Ozkan bt Angus Wooding (Apr 18) 6-3, 7-6 (7-0)

Player Comments:

  • "Good Battle with Angus, who can rally very well. 1st set I pushed hard with more winning shots but I couldn't keep that up for the second set... Angus really tested my ability and pushed back with some very hard serves. I got lucky to go into a tie break from 5-6 down on my serve, defending 2 or 3 set points with that game lasting about 15 mins on its own. Once I got my way through to 6-6, I somehow managed to win it 7-0 on tie break... We were both shattered by the end of it. "  -- Eren
