  • "As always it was good to play with Nigel and we always have a friendly but competitive contest. The first set was won convincingly by Nigel. I went two games without winning a point followed by what seemed like a marathon deuce game at 4-1 which Nigel won before taking the set. The second I managed to find renewed confidence to win 6-0 and maintained momentum to take the third set likewise. Thanks Nigel again for the match."  -- Alastair

  • "A fine match. Carlos played some excellent tennis. I broke Carlos’ serve in the first set but then every game went with serve. The second set flipped at first and neither of us seemed to be able to win our service games. At 3-2 I found a bit of form and Carlos (which was out of character) hit a few double faults. A thoroughly enjoyable game and I look forward to a rematch. "  -- Nigel
