  • "A fantastic game with lots of long, hard-fought rallies. Andy was a pleasure to play, has consistent, accurate shots and moves well round the court. I hope for a re-match sometime soon."  -- Sarah

Reveal CommentMatthew Nelson bt Jenny Ellis (May 7) 6-0, 6-0

Player Comments:

  • "After a 24hour delay due to bad weather Jen and I were finally able to play our match in evening sunshine. Jen will surely count herself unfortunate as I think at least 5 games went to deuce. Another enjoyable match and we look forward to our next match ups in the league."  -- Matthew
Reveal CommentAndy Williams bt Jenny Ellis (May 4) 6-0, 6-2

Player Comments:

  • "Some nice rallies!"  -- Andy
Reveal CommentMatthew Nelson bt Warren Searle (Apr 28) 6-1, 6-4

Player Comments:

  • "What an enjoyable match! A lot of long rallies, impressive winners and a couple of net cords ; ) I was very happy with how well I started the match but was mindful of not allowing Warren to get into a rythym as he clearly knows his way around the court. A late surge made for a tight end to the 2nd set and I was relieved to edge it. I hope we get the chance to play again in the future as this was a real test for us both. Good luck for the rest of your matches Warren. "  -- Matthew
Reveal CommentWarren Searle bt Jenny Ellis (Apr 21) 6-0, 6-0

Player Comments:

  • "Very enjoyable match in good weather. Lots of deuce games so the score line is a little misleading. In fact Jenny was in control of a lot of the points, got me off court but then fluffed the winner (luckily for me!). Some good lobs too."  -- Warren
Reveal CommentMatthew Nelson bt Sarah Finnegan (Apr 15) 6-0, 6-0

Player Comments:

  • "After a cloudy start the sun burst through and allowed us to enjoy a good quality match to get the league up and running. Sarah played solidly and was unfortunate as several games went to deuce. She hits the ball solidly from both sides and continuasly made me play an extra shot. Well played, I enjoyed it. "  -- Matthew
