Nearly 70% of matches were played in the very first round of the West Lothian Singles league. What a great start! Thank you all for supporting this new venture. With your help we are sure it will be grow from strength to strength! If you can spread the word, we would be very grateful.
Group Summary:
Lee dominated the inaugural round winning all of his matches in straight sets and picking up his bonus points - the scheduling award for playing three matches by the mid point of the round. That said, Diane was hot on his heels, completing one more match and winning only one fewer than her rival to end the round in second place, just two points off the lead. But perhaps most tantalising is the predicament of third-placed Gabriele. Unbeaten on four wins, where might he have ended up if you had played his other matches?
