Player Comments:

  • "Great match, brilliantly played by Gareth with his awesome slice serves that had me running all directions!! Thanks for the work out! Most games went to deuce… multiple times… so the score doesn’t really do you justice! Good luck in your next matches "  -- Lauren
Reveal CommentJames Fowler bt Lauren Amos (Nov 21) 6-1, 6-1

Player Comments:

  • "High gusting winds made this a challenge but the match was far closer than the score line. Lauren’s technique was really solid and with more matches under her belt she will win more than she loses. Lots of laughter as the wind took tennis balls in very strange directions and a very enjoyable match"  -- James
Reveal CommentGareth Williams bt Ashleigh Richards (Nov 18) 6-3, 7-5

Player Comments:

  • "A lovely day for tennis and a huge amount of deuce’s throughout the match with some close games that could’ve gone either way. Very enjoyable, thanks Ashleigh "  -- Gareth
Reveal CommentAshleigh Richards bt Lauren Amos (Nov 14) 6-4, 6-2

Player Comments:

  • "There was a heavy downpour shortly before the match was due to start, but luckily the court had dried up enough to continue. The first set was pretty even and could have gone either way. Lauren was serving well, but overall made a few too many double faults. It looked like I was going to run away with the second set going up 5-0, however, with the pressure off, Lauren started playing the best tennis of the match and came back 5-2. Fortunately for me I was able to weather the storm and took the next game winning the set and match. I feel I got very lucky today as Lauren is technically a great player, and if it wasn't for her rather long lay off, I believe the scoreline would have been very different! Thanks for the match and good luck :)"  -- Ashleigh
