Player Comments:

  • "The best match I have ever played with Local Tennis League. We had an amazing and exhausting battle with Jon with most of the rallies lasting 10-15-20 shots. Sometimes it was like an exhibition match. :) He started really well and from 3-1 he won 6 games in a row not allowing me to win any points at all at the end of the first set. Fortunately for me he made a few unforced errors in the second set and with some luck I managed to come back to the match. We continued playing an exhausting tie-break in which we both held multiple match points. It was just an element of luck that somehow I managed reach the 2 points gap first at the end. Very enjoyable match that I truly appreciate to be part of. Thanks Jonathan. "  -- Viktor

Player Comments:

  • "This was an enjoyable and hard fought match. Gian is a great competitor, proving to be very dangerous at the net with some very effective volleying and overheads. His forehand slice is also a potent weapon and was used to good effect throughout the match. Thank you for hosting me at your lovely Kingsgate club Gian and for laying on the perfect weather! I look forward to playing again." -- Tom
