- "Played in the midday heat on North Cheshire LTC's shale. Eddie started well by hitting deep a lot of the time and then coming to the net to put away any weak shots of mine. He got to 5-3 up on his serve in the 1st set and later had set point which I saved with a two handed backhand topspin lob that was only just in. I played consistently to get to the tiebreak in which I made less errors. The 2nd set was very close where I think we both won more return than service games. In this set I was getting points with down the line backhands, slices that stayed low and deep lobs. The temperature increased and the faster balls had a tendency to sail long as they did a few times unfortunately for Eddie in 2nd set tiebreak. Thanks for the match Eddie." -- Peter
