Reveal CommentTony Lam bt Joshua Mason (Jun 21) 7-6 (7-4), 6-1

Player Comments:

  • "Really enjoyable match in perfect weather, competitive and challenging throughout. Joshua has great control with his serves and groundstrokes and often applied pressure at the net. A lengthy and really close first set where the lead went back and forth ending only from a tiebreak. Some tense games and nice rallies, Joshua had me chasing a lot of shots and I certainly felt pretty spent by the end of it. Thanks for the match, hope we can play again soon! "  -- Tony
Reveal CommentTony Lam bt Kirsten Morris (Jun 18) 6-4, 6-1

Player Comments:

  • "A really enjoyable and competitive match throughout, even with the slightly rainy conditions. Kirsten is a great athlete and chased down every ball to the last, who has very consistent hitting and good control of the shots. There were a lot of good rallies and many long deuce games, with some great shots and tense moments. It was quite the work out and I was absolutely knackered by the end of the match, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for the great match Kirsten, hope we can play again soon! "  -- Tony
Thomas Gucwa bt Tony Lam (Jun 17) 6-0, 6-0
Thomas Gucwa bt Kirsten Morris (Jun 16) 6-0, 6-0
Reveal CommentTony Lam bt Rav Silva (Jun 11) 6-4, 7-6 (7-4)

Player Comments:

  • "Great match in fantastic weather. Rav's quick feet and stable hitting made for some long rallies and close games, even with the wind picking up as we played. A roller coaster of a 2nd set, where it went from 0-3 to 5-3 to a tiebreak. All in all a tough and competitive match. Thanks for the game Rav, hope we can play again soon!"  -- Tony
