No tennis? What do you mean no tennis?

For the past couple of weeks, we have written about how to (sort of) play tennis at home. Now, you have been showing us how to do it! Here is a selection of how our players are spending the time until they can get back on court.

MEN AT WORK

"Improvised indoors tennis at home," says says Vasile Toch who plays in the Craiglockhart Tennis League in Edinburgh. It works well for volleys, half volleys, serve (with barrier moved to the wall)."

ON THE REBOUND

"Robert Rhodes youtube channel, trampoline tennis during lockdown," says Robert Rhodes from the Potteries Parks Tennis League. "Bit of ingenuity from me to play without a court"

PAYING ATTENTION TO THE STRINGS

As for Jens Hills, a veteran of countless rounds in Highbury Fields, north London, the lockdown is a chance to find his beloved classical guitar and to start playing again. It might not be tennis, but coping positively with the crisis is what it is all about.
