In the first set, Jeremy was 5:0 up and was literally sweeping me off the court and I thought the whole thing would be over in no time. I was glad to win a game then and avoid a complete trashing. And somehow I recovered to take a 6:5 lead but Jeremy forced a tie break, which I luckily won. I kept the momentum and shamelessly benefitting from Jeremy's unforced errors and at 4:0 up in the second set, I thought I had it. Jeremy came back with his massive forehand and serve and I thought here we go again. I just about managed to take the set 6:4, again benefitting from Jeremy's unforced errors. Second set was very open, I edged in front and managed to keep a lead but very nearly went to 5-4 and would have been anyone's guess from there. He pushed me side a side a lot in the second so I could feel the toll physically and knew a third set would be hard to sustain. Eren has an excellent serve technique and all round shot making. Andrew played an attacking game with a lot of truly excellent winners. The first set was evenly matched and could easily have gone the other way. I played consistently and served fairly well although wasn't clinical at the net. Andrew hits a strong baseline ball which can often mean a defensive game on my part to soak up the energy and wait for an error. His attacking style inevitably led to more mistakes although he was unfortunate in having a lot of low shots just clip the net chord as well.
