Player Comments:

  • "2 sets played over 2 days over 2 different surfaces and conditions which couldn't be any more different! 1st set was stopped due to fading light at Sefton Park hard courts. Tom raced to a 5 2 lead but somehow I managed to pull back to 5 5 after figuring out his serve and returning them better and dropping some cheeky slices and dropshots! Tom has mighty punch in this ground strokes!! Managed to hold on for a tiebreak where I had 1 set point and failed to take it!!! Tom had 2 set points and managed to clinch 2 clear points than me to take the 1st set!! There were many rallies and many deuces! In the second session, we played at David Lloyd indoor carpet courts, where we drew 2 2 before Tom, ran away with it!!! "  -- Benjamin
