Player Comments:

  • "This was a tough win. Very windy match, which made it difficult to go for my shots. Jaroslaw definitely got more winners, but I had slightly more consistency in the important moments."  -- Nick
Reveal CommentJack Cleeves bt Jaroslaw Pieta (Nov 18) 6-2, 6-1

Player Comments:

  • "Thanks for the match Jarek, very windy and the lights didn't seem to come on early enough making the conditions difficult"  -- Jack
Reveal CommentUchenna Adimonye bt Jack Cleeves (Nov 16) 3-6, 6-1, 6-4

Player Comments:

  • "Very tough match played over 2 days. Jack started off very strong taking the first set. I managed to get my rhythm going and took the next 2 sets after a hard fought battle. All the best Jack."  -- Uchenna

Yogesh Shivanna bt Jaroslaw Pieta (Nov 6) 6-4, 6-3
Reveal CommentAviral Mittal bt Jaroslaw Pieta (Nov 3) 7-5, 6-4

Player Comments:

  • "Good competitive game, first set was like hitting winners, second set was like who can keep the ball in I guess. I believed I served well in the first set, but in second set I was serving too many double faults, and I have to slow down a lot to contain them. Second set was also like a roller coaster, I was ahead then I trailed, but then somehow I got lucky and won 3 games in a row to close it. I wish Jaroslaw all the best for his future games."  -- Aviral
Reveal CommentNick Newton bt Yogesh Shivanna (Oct 29) 6-4, 6-3

Player Comments:

  • "A match in soggy conditions where neither of us were playing particularly well. I felt lucky to get out of the first set, but was the more consistent in set 2."  -- Nick
Reveal CommentUchenna Adimonye bt Jaroslaw Pieta (Oct 29) 6-0, 6-4

Player Comments:

  • "With damp and windy conditions, both of us weren’t playing at our best. Jarek started off slower in the first set. Second set was more competitive with Jarek taking the lead at 4-3. I was able to rally from behind in part due to Jarek gifting some unforced errors at key points in the game. Good match. All the best in your remaining games. "  -- Uchenna

Player Comments:

  • "Always a close game with Peter. First set had four or five deuce games but I was perhaps a little more consistent than Peter. Second set continued in much the same form. Thought Peter was on a comeback run when it went from 5-1 to 5-3 but I managed to hold on and finish. Really enjoyable match, thanks Peter "  -- Tony

With a little bit more coaching or with some more balanced groups you'll be winning matches in to time. All the best, hopefully see you around on the courts :)"  -- Elliot
