Player Comments:

  • "It was really exhausting, Mark chased every ball that I was scared I might run out of tank. He is the younger guy and I can’t hang on with him the whole day. I have to go to the net to shorten the rallies and it paid off. Good luck to Mark on his next games."  -- Dr Napoleon

  • "Good contest first set but Mark faded in the second, well played mate"  -- Thomas
Reveal CommentDr Napoleon Escasinas bt Christopher Rose (May 2) 7-5, 6-0

Player Comments:

  • "It was a close match. The first set was almost 1 hour and at 5-5 , the game could be had by either. I can't tell anyone how I won the first set as both fo us were very determined to wint the set as the rallies are endless. The second set doesn't really represent the game, maybe Chris was just disappointed as to how he lost the first set. He was leading at 5-4 in the first set and I was already thinking that it could be another 3 setter as were my previous 2 games prior and this is a tournament to start at 1200 as well. Well done to Chris for putting up a great fight. It was such a good match. Tennis is such a crazy game as you can lead at 40-love but you could still lose the game and your points cancelled. "  -- Dr Napoleon
Reveal CommentThomas Store bt Dr Napoleon Escasinas (Apr 24) 2-6, 6-0, 6-1

Player Comments:

  • "It wa a very good match. I won the first set quickly but lost the 2nd set quickly as well. It looked like I need more cardio training as my first 2 matcher were won handily in the first sets then lost or struggling with the succeeding sets. I will come back stronger once I sort out my stamina. "  -- Dr Napoleon
